When asked “Are you involved in a Young Farmers chapter?”, select “Southeast Tennessee Young Farmers Coalition”.

What does it mean to be a chapter member?

Southeast Tennessee Young Farmers (SeTNYF) is a local chapter of the National Young Farmers Coalition. Our chapter is a group of young and beginning farmers, as well as established farmers and supporters, who are working to increase interest in, and access to, agriculture as an economically viable enterprise that enriches our communities and overcomes structural inequity.

Our community of farmers is open to anyone who would like to be a part. We encourage those who want to move actions and decisions within the chapter to consider becoming a member. Membership in our chapter means membership in the National Young Farmers Coalition and provides voting rights within the chapter, allowing your voice to be heard not only on a state and local level but on a federal level. The voices of local chapters around the country shape the policy focus of the national organization and that can, and does, affect real change.

Membership includes other perks as well, such as access to discount codes for some excellent brands of farm equipment including Johnny’s Seeds and Premier1 fencing.
