Resilience Farming - Walking Panel Discussion, Meeting, and Potluck

The resilience farming discussion at Sequatchie Cove Farm on January 18th brought together panelists Alysia Leon (Bird Fork Farm), Emily Stutzman (Caney Fork Farms), Melissa Shepherd (Quail Run Farm) and Kelsey Keener (Sequatchie Cove Farm).

As we toured the farm, we covered: climate events and preparation, working with the land, finances and finding the right market niche, and connecting with resources. Through these conversations, the theme that kept coming up was the power of collaboration. 

Following the discussion, we shared a bountiful potluck feast. During the quarterly meeting, we heard about chapter updates, welcomed new chapter leaders and thanked our outgoing leadership.
